Ingello prototype · MRP for a winery

From vine to shelf: every bottle planned

End-to-end planning for Chateau Chizay: from the annual sales plan to the daily shift task on the bottling line. Reference books of cycles and norms, one plan instead of scattered Excel files, accounting stays in 1C/BAS, a dashboard for the owner.

Facts about the estate come from public sources. Sales, stock, harvest, suppliers and capacity in the prototype are demo data.

Dashboard

Why a winery needs MRP specifically

An accounting system records what has already happened. MRP answers what, how much and when to do so that bottles are on the shelf in time.

01Different cycles

The production cycle is 21 days for wine, 45 for sparkling, 120 for cognac, preceded by months and years of tirage and spirit ageing. Harvest decisions shape sales for years ahead.

02The harvest sets the limit

The harvest is estimated by direct counts in the plots in June and July, exact figures arrive during picking, and on 1 December the winemaker states the wine material for next year.

03Long deliveries

Spirit travels about two months, cork 8 weeks, muselets 6, labels at least 21 days. The reorder point has to be visible in advance, not on bottling day.

04Seasonal peaks

Before New Year sparkling demand nearly doubles while disgorging capacity is limited.

How the prototype works

Planning runs left to right: the annual sales plan breaks down into months and weeks, a week becomes bottling, bottling becomes materials and orders, orders become a daily shift task closed with actuals. Everything rests on reference books of cycles and norms (step 0). Numbers match the strip in the prototype.

1. Sales plan1. Sales plan

Annual plan by product group and month, actuals from BAS alongside, current months broken into weeks for the bottling plan.

2. Bottling plan (MPS)2. Bottling plan (MPS)

A year by month and 16 weeks in detail: what and how much to bottle, when to start the cycle (wine 21 days, sparkling 45, cognac 120), line load. ATP: how much can still be promised.

3. Material requirements3. Material requirements

Each item: stock, safety stock, open orders, cover, a reorder point that accounts for delivery and the production cycle, a weekly MRP calculation.

4. Planned orders4. Planned orders

Purchases and bottling tasks calculated by the system. Select and send drafts to BAS.

5. Shift schedule5. Shift schedule

Tasks for each line, day and shift: SKU, quantity, wine lot, material readiness. After the shift actuals are entered, the day is closed and the variance goes back to the plan.

0. Reference books0. Reference books

Production cycles by SKU, delivery cycles by material, stock norms and reorder points, bills of materials.

Next to 1C/BAS and Bitrix24, not instead

Accounting stays in 1C/BAS. Planning data now scattered across Excel files moves into the system. CRM: Bitrix24 today or your own CRM if you decide to move. Vineyards come as a separate module.

What is real in the prototype

  • MRP calculation in the browser: BOM explosion, net requirements, lot sizes, lead times, safety stock, a reorder point that accounts for the production cycle
  • Plan scenarios: corporate order, New Year peak, cork delay, capacity levelling
  • The shift schedule is built from the bottling plan, wine lots come from the wine material section
  • Estate facts: area, vineyards, sites, number of barrels, range, export countries

What is demo for now

  • Sales, plan, stock, harvest, suppliers, prices and lead times
  • Exchange with 1C/BAS, Bitrix24, excise and Telegram
  • Vineyard module: plots, varieties, treatments, machinery, fuel, crews
  • Barrel allocation by lot and tank status

How we move on

1Discovery and reference books

A description of the end-to-end planning process from the annual sales plan to the daily shift task. Reference books of cycles, norms and BOMs, data moved over from Excel.

2Planning MVP

Sales plan, bottling plan, BOMs, requirements and messages on real BAS data.

3Integrations and shifts

Drafts in BAS, dates in Bitrix24 deals, daily shift tasks for production.

4Vineyards and harvest

Plots, varieties, works, machinery, harvest and yield forecast linked to the wine material plan.

Cost guidelines

The ranges are wide for now: the exact amount and timing come after discovery, once your process and data are visible. The system becomes company property, no subscription, payment by stages.

Introductionfree

The first meeting and a prototype built on public data about Chateau Chizay. Already done.

Discovery$1,800 – $7,600

A description of end-to-end planning from the annual sales plan to the daily shift task, reference books, Excel migration, specification and an exact estimate. Weekly at $1,800, a $2,400 package or the full $7,600 package.

First working version$15,000 – $50,000

Reference books, sales plan, bottling plan, requirements and reorder points, orders, daily shift task with actuals, owner dashboard. The amount depends on the reference books, the number of lines and the BAS exchange. Stages of 3–4 weeks, you can stop after any of them.

Further developmentseparately

Two-way BAS exchange, your own CRM instead of Bitrix24, a vineyard module, an AI assistant. Each block is estimated after the first version.

This is not J.D. Edwards or Oracle level spending: no licences, no subscription and no separate consultant team.
